DreamScapes Masonry and Concrete
The backbone of the backyard, and the difference between a slab and a space is entirely in the details.

Almost everything we build stands on a patio, the kitchen, the fire pit, the pavilion, the pool deck. So we build them like foundations, because they are: excavated to the right depth, compacted in lifts, screeded flat, edged so nothing walks. The pavers you choose are the visible ten percent; the reason the patio still looks right in fifteen years is the ninety percent underneath.
Contrasting borders that frame the space. Curves that soften a rectangular yard. Level changes that turn a slope into two rooms instead of one awkward ramp. Big format pavers laid tight and straight, the photographs on this page are our own jobs, and the lines are why they photograph well.
Both are real options and we build both. Pavers win on repairability (one broken unit swaps invisibly) and design range; stamped concrete wins on budget for big areas. We will price your patio both ways and tell you where each makes sense, sometimes the answer is pavers at the core and concrete on the wings.
Not if the base is right. Settling is a compaction failure and weeds are a joint sand failure, both are prevented at build time, which is why we are slow about the parts you never see. Polymeric sand and a proper base are the whole answer.
Bigger than the furniture, smaller than the yard's patience. We lay it out with paint on the grass and walk it with you before anything is dug, chairs pulled out, grill open, path to the door, so the size is proven before it is permanent.
Free consultations, no pressure. Call, tell us what you're dreaming about, and we'll walk the yard with you.
